Super aesthetic specimen featuring a pink Fluorapatite hugging cris-crossing Schorl Tourmaline crystals!
Both sit atop a matrix of white Microcline crystals with additional Schorl Tourmalines scattered about.
The nearly cm pink Fluorapatite crystal appears to be one single crystal which formed around the Schorl
crystals. One of the most unique displays I've seen and one of my favorite specimens from the show.

Item #A2

Colorful specimen featuring layers of purplish Yttrofluorite over brown Calcite crystals with Quartz!
A unique combination plate and one that is equally aesthetic. The brown Calcite crystals are highly
reflective and exhibit a glassy luster when the specimen is rotated. Many of these are completely
covered with a coating a Yttrofluorite which begins as mostly white and evolves into a grape-jelly
purple at the tips. Yttrofluorite is a variety of Fluorite containing an appreciable amount of trivalent
Yttrium (Y) taking the place of divalent Calcium (Ca) cations in the Fluorite structure. No detractions.

Rare specimen of Native Wire Silver rising atop Silver matrix from Australia!
I almost never see wire Silver specimens from Broken Hill so this specimen ranks up there as
one of the rarest Silvers I acquired at the show. The well formed curled wires at top rise up from
a matrix of mostly Silver with some minor Galena. A great locality piece for a Silver collection.

Item #A12

Rare and very impressive plate of orangish-brown Scheelite crystals with Quartz!
This is a Colorado Scheelite from the famous Camp Bird locality above Ouray and is the
finest example I've seen in well over a decade. These are classic Scheelite specimens and
anything but common. They usually come to market from an older collections as this one
did. Definately a very rare opportunity for collectors. The Scheelite crystals here number
at right around a dozen ad they measure to 1.8 cm in size. All have sharp, flashy, lustrous
faces and they contrast beautifully with the acompanying Quartz along the right edge.
In my opinion, this is the finest example of Camp Bird Scheelite on mindat.org.

Item #A15

Extraordinarily rare specimen featuring a deep blue Aquamarine crystal perched horizontally atop Topaz crystals!
I saw two of these unique specimens from Russia at the show and this one was by far the best of the two. The Aquamarine
crystal exhibits a deep blue coloration and it is also doubly terminated, measuring over 7 cm in length. It sits or lays atop
a bed of numerous Topaz crystals which are mostly pale blue but they also show some golden accents or inclusions. Very
beautiful and unusual specimen and a rare combination as well. In very good condition with loads of glassy flash and color.

Item #A16

Gorgeous, glassy cluster of golden-brown Smoky Quartz crystals!
This fine cluster of perfectly terminated Quartz points is super gemmy with a rich amber coloration that glows
under any type of lighting. The interiors are transparent and clear with a very distinct phantom inside the largest
crystal.. The crystals are all pure glass with jewel-like clarity beneath lustrous, softly striated surfaces. I don't offer
many Smoky Quartz specimens because I have a hard time finding ones I like. This plate met all my criteria for quality.

both sides by a matrix crust that shields the xls within from damage. In excellent condition.

Item #A18

Super glassy crystals of deep blue Azurite with green Malachite sprays on matrix!
This is a screamer of an Azurite specimen if you appreciate chisel-perfect and highly lustrous
Azurite crystals. I won't make the comparison of these Azurites with those of Milpillas because
the look is somewhat different but they are every bit as impressive to me. The largest of these
freestanding Azurite crystals measures 2 cm in size and they were obviously well protected by the
concave pocket in which they formed because all are pristine, save for a couple of small ones
that touched matrix. This is a specimen that must be seen to be fully appreciated. The picture is
good but the specimen itself is many times better in person. The crystal luster is mind blowing.

thick clusters, I much prefer the individual blades and acquire every example I can find. No damage.
