Incredible crystal of bi-colored
Aquamarine sitting atop fine Albite crystals!
I LOVE this specimen! The Aquamarine crystal is complete and perfectly terminated with
a smooth, flat-top termination. The surfaces are striated and lustrous and covered with
a very light matting that makes them sparkle! The color is tremendous, beginning with a
breathtaking sky-blue at the base which abruptly changes over to a darker, deeper blue
which extends upwards toward the top. This 4 cm by 3.2 cm Aqua crystal sits atop stark
white
Albite which are accented by small crystals of Muscovite and what appears to be
Clinochlore.
There is a small restoration on the backside where a crack was professionally filled to
make it
virtually invisible to the naked eye. It's so well done that it doesn't even appear in the
photo.
From the Shigar Valley, Northern Areas, Baltistan, Skardu District, Pakistan.
Measures 5.8 cm by 6.7 cm by 5.5 cm in size.

Stacked crystal cluster balls of Green
Pyromorphite!
Amazing specimen which is vibrant in coloration and amazing in form.
Very little in the way of contacts with only a few scattered incomplete crystals.
That's pretty amazing considering the number of terminated crystals in these clusters.
From the Daoping Mine, Gongcheng City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
Measures 9 cm by 4.5 cm in total size.

Impressive specimen featuring a deep
orange Imperial Topaz crystal atop matrix!
Overall, this is a visually pleasing crystal with a textbook termination and only a slight
bit of contacting along the right side, probably due to matrix influence along that edge.
It doesn't detract at all from the 3.5 cm by 2.4 cm Topaz crystal. The color overpowers
all!
From Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Southeast Region, Brazil.
Measures 5.6 cm by 4.5 cm in size.

Cute miniature featuring Smoky Quartz,
Amazonite, and Albite!
The major three minerals that all collectors look for in these beautiful combos from
Colorado!
One of the Smokies has a contact and minor bumps are scattered here and there but the
price
is right and the specimen is very aesthetic. The contacted tip could be restored if so
desired.

Excellent "drill-bit" crystal of
dark red Cinnabar with smaller Cinnabars and Dolomite on Quartz!
In normal room light, these Cinnabar crystals are a lustrous dark red but light up to a
deep red
under direct lighting. The tips are sharp and complete and the crystal form at left is
textbook.

Stunning crystal of deep, deep golden
Calcite perched on Dolostone with a Barite cluster!
Under a 10X loupe, a tiny cleave on the backside tip can be seen but this is invisible
from
the front where the termination is perfect. Since it can't be seen from the front, it
doesn't
detract at all. Most wouldn't even notice it anyway if I hadn't pointed it out - the
cleave is
that difficult to see. Just to the right of the Calcite is a perfect little cluster of
creamy Barite!
From the Elmwood Mine, Smith County, Tennessee.
Measures 6.3 cm by 6.7 cm in size with a 4 cm golden Calcite.

Impressive halfbreed! Almost exactly half
Native Silver and half Native Copper!
The Silver portion is composed of crude crystals, two of which can be seen on the far
right side of the specimen. The Copper portion is less crystalline but adds the perfect
balance to the Silver. One of the first halfbreeds I've seen that is actually a halfbreed
in terms of metal ratio. This is a good sized specimen with a fair amount of heft as well.
From the Calumet & Hecla Mine, Calumet, Houghton County, Michigan.
Measures 8.5 cm by 5.9 cm in size.

Wulfenite on Limonite matrix!
These were collected in January of 2008 and have been very popular since coming to market.
These specimen is in excellent condition with very little in the way of contacts. The
crystals
appear to be sitting on Descloizite coated matrix but I haven't tested to be certain.

VERY RARE NATIVE GOLD SPECIMEN!
Spectacular old specimen of Native Gold in Quartz matrix from Georgia!
This impressive specimen is from Dahlonega, Georgia, which was home to the second gold
rush
period in American History. Dahlonega was a rough patch of ground in northern Georgia back
in the early 1800's and it was also home to the Cherokees. Settlers found their way there
and the discovery of Gold brought in waves of panners and miners, leading to the founding
of the town of Dahlonega and later the Dahlonega Mint which struck the Gold into 1, 2 1/2
and
5 dollar coins. Unfortunately for the Native Americans, it also meant they were to be
displaced
and the government drove them westward into Oklahoma along the now famous "Trail of
Tears".
The town of Dahlonega prospered for a short period but was soon overshadowed by the newer
discovery of Gold in California which pulled away many of its miner inhabitants. The
federal
mint in Dahlonega continued to operate up until the Civil War but never reopened
afterwards.
This is the largest Dahlonega Gold specimen I've seen outside of museums.
From Dahlonega, Lumpkin County, Georgia.
Measures 7.8 cm by 9 cm by 4.3 cm in size.

Rare specimen of natural Turquoise from
Iran!
Completely natural specimen which has not been stabilized or tampered with!
It's measured at 1000 cts but seems larger to me. The color is absolutely gorgeous and
the nugget itself is thick and solid. Some very fine Turquoise from a very rare locale!
I only know of two specimens that have come to market from Iran and this is the finest.

NEW FIND!! Exciting new specimen of
superbly crystallized Native Copper with Native Silver!
Russians dealers are calling these new specimens "halfbreeds" but the Native
Silver actually appears
as a thin coating atop the fine Copper crystals. This particular specimen has Silver
coating atop the
left side crystals, extending outward over the backside towards the right. While the
Silver doesn't
add much in terms of overall weight, it definately adds a bright white contrast to the
reddish Copper.

Measures 7.6 cm by 6 cm in size.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Museum quality plate of
intensely lustrous Schorl crystal clusters on white Quartz!
These incredible Schorl specimens appeared about 7 years ago in Tucson and have all but
disappeared
from the market. I purchased this large cabinet plate in 2006 because it was the largest
of the entire lot
that I was fortunate enough to cherry-pick. It's now making its first website appearance
and trust me,
the above photo (as good as it may be) does not do the specimen justice! The Schorl
Tourmaline
clusters are incredibly vibrant and lustrous with a satiny sheen that just can't be
captured in a photo.
These black crystal clusters are made even more impressive by the stark-white Quartz
crystal
matrix that they sit on. This is the finest and largest specimen of this material that
I've ever owned
or offered on the website. It would easily make a great centerpiece for the finest mineral
collection.
From the Guadalupana Mine, Cerro de Chavito, Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico.
Measures 19 cm by 24.1 cm by 8 cm in size.
