EXCEPTIONAL! Native Silver wires and ropes with Calcite!
I call this specimen the "Kongsberg Bonsai Tree". The thick, knarled ropes of
Silver are accented by a beautiful antique-golden patina and pearly Calcite crystals.
One of the wires actually penetrates a small Calcite on the far right side, completing the
most aesthetic, miniature sized Kongsberg Silver specimen that I've ever owned - twice!
From the Kongsberg Mine, Kongsberg, Buskerud, Norway.
Measures 5.7 cm by 4.8 cm.

MIN#Denver2009-22 SOLD!

LARGE CABINET!! Super lustrous plate of Cadmium Smithsonite!
I believe this is the largest yellow Smithsonite I've ever seen or offered on the
website! The slightly botryoidal surface dazzles with a fine satiny luster which
swirls under the lights. There is no damage and the only incompleteness is along
the outer trim. This a rarer color of Smithsonite and one that usually goes quickly!
From the El Refugio Mine, Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Measures 16 cm by 21 cm by 7 cm in size.

Ex. K. Cooper Smithsonite Collection
Price $5500

MIN#Denver2009-23 NEW!

EXCEPTIONAL! A large doubly terminated Aquamarine crystal atop Muscovite!
I think the photo speaks for itself but here are the particulars on this stunning specimen.
The Aquamarine is a deep sky blue with super glassy surfaces and perfect terminations
at both ends. It measures 6.7 cm in length with two smaller crystals attached to the backside
which bring the total length to 7.5 cm. The matrix ranges from large Muscovite on the backside
to smaller blades of Muscovite on the front. Actually, the specimen could be displayed from
either side but this is the presentation that I prefer. I might also point out that the tips of
the Aqua are crystal-clear gem and can be seen through all the way to the matrix.
From Nagar, Hunza Valley, Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Measures 9 cm by 7.5 cm by 5.7 cm in size.

From the Kevin Ward Personal Collection
Price $9500

MIN#Denver2009-28 SOLD!

Gemmy crystal balls of orange Creedite!
Orange Creedite is actually rarer than purple Creedite and to my knowledge, is the
only color that forms these beautiful crystal ball clusters. I can't recall seeing a purple
one yet. The luster is glassy and very reflective and there are three distinct clusters in
this specimen. Also, I don't see a definative point of attachment so this might be a floater!

From Mina Navidad, Abasolo, Durango, Mexico.
Measures 4.5 cm by 8.6 cm in size.

Price $485

Gemmy, glowing crystals of Sulfur in cluster!
I love Sulfur specimens - especially when the crystals are large and faces are sharp!
This specimen is both and more with perfect terminations on both crystals. The largest
crystal at top measures 4.2 cm in size and is nearly doubly terminated! The horizontal
crystal at lower front measures 3.7 cm. Both are sharp with only the slightest of rounding.

MIN#Denver2009-36 SOLD!

EXCEPTIONAL!! Tremendous cabinet specimen of Bluish-Green Topaz crystals on Albite!
This specimen ranks as one of the finest Topaz specimens I've seen from Nevada and
the color is definately the deepest of any I've seen. As a matter of fact, this specimen is
nearly perfect in all respects! Even the irregular edge on the lower right size is completely
rehealed from where the crystal split naturally in the pocket many years ago. The front
crystal faces are very glassy and gemmy. The largest termination at top is pefect as is the
lower termination. The small termination on the crystal in the very back has been restored
to give the specimen a pristine appearance. The work was done by CE and is nearly invisible.
From the 1999-2000 find at the Zapot Mine, Hawthorne, Mineral County, Nevada.
Measures 12.2 cm by 11.3 cm by 12 cm in size.
Comes with a custom made, labeled base

SHIPWRECK SPECIAL!!
Complete 1744 Pillar Dollar stuck in conglomerate with pieces of colored glass and brass!
Ok, I know this isn't really a mineral specimen but it's pretty amazing as well as aesthetic and was part
of an Atocha Bar purchase. This specimen is from the Reijgersdaal which sunk off the coast of South
Africa on October 25th, 1747. The ship had been anchored between Robbin and Dassen Islands so the
crew could capture rock rabbits for food. Along came a gale which broke the anchor line and the rest
is history. Almost nothing from the wreck was salvaged due to the dangerous conditions of the area.
Apparently, when this Mexican Pillar Dollar (1744-MF) tumbled down through the depths, it became
embedded in the mud and debris of the wreck. Over the course of 250+ years, the conglomerate
hardened and locked the coin in place along with pieces of colored glass and a small round object
made of brass that may be a crotal bell. There's also the hollow remains of a piece of wood or iron.

From the 1747 Reijgersdaal (Reygersdahl) Shipwreck, Off the coast of South Africa.
Recovered in 1979-1980. Measures 8.5 cm by 7.2 cm by 4.5 cm in size.

Comes with certificate of authenticity
Price $4500
