EXCEPTIONAL! Stunning specimen featuring
two distinct habits of Calcite, side by side!
The Calcite on the right side has an orange interior (Hematite included) and a multiple
faced
scalenahedral appearance. The Calcite to the left is twinned with a faint pinkish
coloration.
Both crystals are complete and extremely lustrous with sharp glassy faces. They sit atop
a matrix of smaller Calcites. A wonderful specimen from a lesser seen Chinese locality.
By the way, believe it or not, the left "orange" Calcite is also doubly
terminated!
From the Fuzichong Ore Field, Wuzhou Prefecture, Guangxi Zhuang A. R., China.
Measures 6 cm by 10.4 cm by 10 cm in size.

EXCEPTIONAL! Large specimen featuring rare
crystals of Augelite with Siderite and Pyrite!
Augelite is a very rare Aluminum Hydroxyl Phosphate and these crystals are especially
sharp
with plenty of gemminess and luster. The Siderite crystals aren't bad either with good
translucent
color. Several large and dozens of smaller Pyrite octahedrons balance off this large
cabinet piece.
From the Rosario Section of the Tazna Mine, Cerro Tazna, Potosí Department, Bolivia.
Measures 13 cm by 13 cm by 11.2 cm in size.

Pretty specimen of bi-color
Aquamarine-Goshenite with Schorl on Microcline!
I've seen some Aqua-Morganites from here but this is the first Aqua-Goshenite I've
come across. The cluster is impressive with full terminations and a nice contrasting
mix of Schorl crystals in various sizes. The Beryls could best be described as a 50/50
split, with the bottom half being Goshenite and the upper half blue Aquamarine.
From Baha, Braldu Valley, Baltistan, Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Measures 7 cm by 9 cm in size.

Impressive specimen of Green Quartz points
(Hedenbergite included) and Hematite!
This is a big specimen and nearly every point is complete! Those which aren't are
rehealed.
It's pretty amazing to find a large Greek Quartz in such great condition and the Hematite
appears as small crystal balls attached to the points. There's a larger Hematite cluster
measuring nearly 4 cm in width located on the upper left side of the matrix!
From Serifos Island, Kykládes Prefecture, Aegean Islands Department, Greece.
Measures 13 cm by 15 cm by 13.8 cm in size.

RARE and EXCEPTIONAL!!
Amazing specimen featuring Acanthite crystals nestled between Amethyst points!
This specimen has been in my personal collection for years but I felt it was time to
give it some web exposure. Someone told me years ago that no Silver minerals appear
in crystal form with Amethyst from the Creede localty, but this was obviously incorrect.
I will admit I haven't seen too many of them over the years and this is definately the
best specimen I've come across. The Acanthite crystals are fairly distinct with a slight
secondary growth along some crystal faces. There are also Silver wires scattered about
in association. While the front of the specimen is Amethyst, the backside is all
Acanthite!
From Creede, Mineral County, Colorado.
Measures 8 cm by 5.7 cm in size.
From the Kevin Ward Mineral Collection
Comes with a custom made, labeled base

NEW FIND!!! From the Houston Show -
Celestite crystals with Sulfur inclusions!
I purchased a small collection of the these incredible specimens at the show. This
specimen
features a pair of glassy crystals with one being doubly terminated. The other may also be
but I'm not certain. The yellowish Sulfur inclusions are quite visible just beneath the
translucent surfaces. The story behind this find - These specimens were collected
in 1962 by Oz Krebs in Libya. They were apparently held in private for over 40 years
and just released recently to the market. The small flat I purchased are among the best.
From Jabal al Akhdar, Cyrenaica, Libya.
Measures 5.1 cm by 6.5 cm in size.
Appeared in the "What's New?" article in the
Mineralogical Record for the Houston Show.
Price $1500

Large cluster of lustrous Azurite
crystal nodules with Malachite!
This is one of the largest clusters I've seen from
the La Sal Mine and is quite impressive
to say the least! There must be at least three dozen crystal cluster nodules of
Azurite on this
plate and all sparkle wildly in even the faintest lighting. The Malachite is always a nice
accent.
From the La Sal Mine, San Juan County, Utah.
Measures 9.5 cm by 11.3 cm in size.

RARE! Impressive specimen of Native Copper
with Malachite and Cuprite from Pennsylvania!
The semi-crystalline Native Copper pops out about one third up the matrix and rises some
4.7 cm!
It's partially covered with Malachite near the top and surrounded by Cuprite and Malachite
at the base.
A very rare locality specimen with more than its fair share of aesthetic appeal!
From the ISP Quarry, Greenstone, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
Measures 8.2 cm by 10.1 cm by 5.2 cm in size.

OLD TIME COMBO!! Classic specimen
featuring Amethyst with Calcite, Chalcopyrite, and Quartz!
This is one of my first specimens as a collector and it was formally in the mine
director's personal collection.
It's a stunning combination of crystals with golden Chalcopyrites and well formed Calcite
crystals. The
smoky-purple Amethyst points add the perfect contrast and round out what is a very
beautiful cabinet piece.
From Taxco de Alarcón, Mun. de Taxco, Guerrero, Mexico.
Measures 16.6 cm by 12.7 cm by 8.9 cm in size.

Exceptional Orange Creedite with
Fluorite!
One of the finest Orange Creedite crystal clusters
you'll see anywhere!
Orange Creedite is actually rarer than the more famous Purple Creedite and very few
specimens are as aesthetic as this one with the large crystal of aqua-blue Fluorite on the
right side. I would rate this specimen as one of the five finest I've seen out of many
hundreds.
From Mina Navidad, Durango, Mexico.
Measures 7.8 cm by 13.6 cm in size.
