From Level 630 of the San Guillermo Vein, San Luis Shaft, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico.
These perfect crystals of Pyrargyrite measure 1 cm on average and the specimen about
3 cm by 4.5 cm. Pyrargyrite is a Silver bearing mineral also known as "Ruby Silver".
It is a Silver Antimony Sulfide and displays a very dark red to reddish black color.

WOW! Intense red crystals of Rhodonite in Calcite!
A new find from the Lafiete District, Minas Gerais, Brazil. From what I've been told,
this find was just made recently and material is finally making its way to the market.
I chose this specimen as the finest representative of this find in Tucson and the xls are
a deep translucent red with glassy, striated surfaces. This specimen measures 3.5 cm
by 3.3 cm in total size. They tend to be somewhat brittle in the surrounding Calcite
and this specimen does has one repair. It was beautifully done and almost invisible.
