EXCEPTIONAL!! RARE specimen of elongated Pink Apatites on Muscovite!
I was thrilled to find this specimen! A very small number of these incredible Apatites
appeared about five years ago and quickly disappeared from the market. I only had
one to offer at the time and it was far beneath the quality of this specimen. Actually,
this is the finest elongated Apatite that I've ever seen! While pink Apatites from
Pakistan are fairly common, these crystals mimic the elongated crystal habit of
Aquamarines found in the same region. Most pink Apatite crystals are short and
stout and it is in this way that the above featured specimen is so rare and unusual!
From Nagar, Hunza Valley, Gilgit District, Northern Areas of Pakistan.

The contrast is beautiful and the main point is terminated with the only
contact being on the backside where the Quartz grew against another crystal
(probably another smoky). It's important to point out that this specimen is
