EXCEPTIONAL TOURMALINES with
LEPIDOLITE!!
A stunning specimen of multi-colored Tourmaline
crystals rising some 11.3 cm above a Lepidolite
covered base! The crystal surfaces are literally flawless with a glassy vibrance I rarely
see in
Tourmaline specimens. Both crystals are perfectly terminated with emerald-green tips that
evolve
into a bluish-green coloration which then changes over to a lighter green near the bottom.
The lower
portion of the actually becomes "watermelon" in that the interior is red while
the exterior is green.
The pinkish Lepidolite crystals are the perfect accent to this amazing, UNREPAIRED
Tourmaline!
Circa 2001 from the Rocket Pocket, Pederneira Mine, São
José da Safira, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Measures 11.3 cm by 2.5 cm in total size.
Price $25,000

Gemmy, red rhombs of Rhodochrosite
with Fluorite, Sphalerite and Pyrite!
What an incredible Chinese Rhodochrosite! The rhombs
are slightly etched which
is normal but it doesn't detract from the transparency and translucence of these glassy
crystals! The color is some of the deepest red I've seen to date from China and very
impressive. If Chinese Rhodo gets much better, it will be the equal of the Sweet
Home!
From the Wuton (Wudong) Mine, Liubao, Wuzhou Prefecture,
Guangxi Zhuang A. R., China.
Measures 4.1 cm by 5 cm in size.
Price $1500

Exceptional combination of
Aegirine crystals with Smoky Quartz on Microcline!
Super aesthetic specimen featuring over half a
dozen terminated Aegirine crystals
rising upwards atop Microcline matrix. A perfect, doubly terminated Smoky Quartz
crystal lays horizontally in the foreground. This adds not only contrast, but depth
and eye appeal to what can easily be a somewhat unglamorous mineral. Very nice!
From Mt. Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi.
Measures 6.9 cm by 5.4 cm in size.
Comes with a labeled acrylic base.
Ex. Gabriel Risse Mineral Collection
Price $2450

Impressive combo of Golden Calcite on
lustrous Galena!
One of the better Calcite on Galena specimens I've
seen from Illinois.
I don't see many but what I do see is usually from the Elmwood Mine. The largest
Calcite measures nearly 5 cm tip to tip and is doubly terminated. I don't detect any
cleaves so it is complete and pretty gemmy. Even in the above photo you can see
all the way through the top Calcite down to the Galena surface underneath.
From the Denton Mine, Hardin County, Illinois.
Measures 8.5 cm by 6.5 cm in total size.
Price $485

Mexican classic featuring Amethyst
crystals on Galena with Quartz drusy!
This specimen came from a small pocket found in
the 1960's in Naica, Mexico.
The Amethyst crystals sit atop a matrix of lustrous Galena with a scattering of
smaller Quartz points and drusy which adds further contrast to this very aesthetic
specimen. These classics rarely appear for sale and I purchase them whenever I see
them because the combination is so appealing. This is a rare
opportunity to land one.
From the Siglo XX Mine, Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Measures 9 cm by 7.9 cm in size.
Ex. Stoudt Mineral Collection
Price $2500

Beautiful plate of hot-pink

Japan.
Measures 12 cm by 19 cm by 8.8 cm in size.

Exceptional Native Silver on Copper!

terminations.

New Find! Botryoidal violet Fluorite
plate with a lustrous Pyrite ball!
One of the better plates of this material that I was
able to find while in Tucson!
The ball at the top measures 3.8 cm in size and the Fluorite surfaces appear to be
almost ball-like themselves with a flashy, satiny luster. Really neat material!
From the Shangbao Mine, Hunan Province of China.
Measures 12.2 cm by 10.1 cm in size.
Price $3250

Celestine crystal perched atop
Fluorite cubes!
Remarkable miniature featuring not one, but two
complete crystals of tranparent
Celestine! The largest is the crystal in the upper right corner and it measures 3 cm
in size. The second crystal is slightly smaller and located just behind the front one.
A third, slightly contacted Celestine xl lays horizontally along the right side and
is partially covered by the light purple Fluorite cubes. Very attractive and distinct!
From the Tule Mine, Melchor Múzquiz, Mun. de Melchor
Múzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico
Measures 6 cm by 5.7 cm by 8.6 cm in size.
Price $285

New Species!! Gorgeous hot peach-colored
Olmiite crystal ball on gem Calcite!
This was originally labeled as Poldervaartite but very recent analysis has shown that
these
are indeed Olmiite - a Mn dominant Poldervaartite. This lustrous specimen features
a 3.2 cm Olmiite crystal ball! Very aesthetic and well balanced with a lot of pizzazz!

EXCEPTIONAL! Large cabinet plate featuring
large pyramidal Pyrrhotites on Quartz crystals!
The golden brown and quite lustrous Pyrrhotites contrast beautifully with the orange
tinted Quartz
and the entire specimen is very three dimensional in appearance. Personally, I love the
way one of
the Pyrrhotites grows upwards while the other displays its length sideways. In excellent
condition!

Measures 11 cm by 16.8 cm in size. The upright crystal measures right at 4 cm.

Impressive large cabinet sized specimen of
Amethystine crystals with Golden Calcite at top!
This is a stunning specimen and would make for an incredible centerpiece! The Amethystine
crystals are terminated with a scattering of milky inclusions near the tips. The crystals
are
quite glassy and lustrous with a complete rehealing on the backside. The Golden Calcite
crystals at top are clustered together with a pearly chatoyance and complete terminations!
There is a tiny area of stabilization on the backside between the Calcite and Quartz.
