MIN#Tucson2010-181 NEW!
Brilliant crystals of Native Gold
inside a sparkling drusy lined matrix vug!
What an incredible sight these dendrites and
flattened Gold crystals are! The close up
gives a better view of the crystals but it's impossible to capture the flash and sparkle
of this fine specimen. The matrix could be trimmed or left as is since the Gold appears
to extend further down into the seam. Either way is very nice and aesthetic in my opinion.
From the Olinghouse District, Washoe County, Nevada.
Measures 11 cm by 10.5 cm by 6.4 cm in size.
Price $3500

Large cubes of Galena on Dolomite
covered Chert matrix!
These lustrous cubes are impressive and many of the
faces are mirror-like. Also impressive
is the secondary growth! Small pyramids sit atop the Galena faces on all sides and this
adds
to the aesthetics of the specimen in my opinion. Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite are also
present.
From the Barra Mine, Tri-State District, Treece, Kansas.
Measures 12.5 cm by 9 cm by 7.8 cm in size.
Price $650

Cute and pristine specimen featuring gemmy
Beryl var. Emerald on matrix!
True, the specimen is small but it makes up for this with lots of pizzazz and vibrant
color!
It has some crystal size too with the largest of the three upright Emeralds measuring
right at
1 cm in size. Smaller Emeralds can be seen on the lower left size of the matrix and behind
the top
crystal cluster. The crystals and all terminations are pristine and lustrous! A really
sweet TN!
From the Chivor Mine, Boyaca Department, Colombia.
Measures 2.6 cm by 1.4 cm in size.
Ex. Minette Mineral Collection
Price $1250

Pretty light blue crystal sprays of
Hemimorphite atop Calcite!
The Calcite crystals are thin, transparent blades
while the Hemimorphite crystals
widen out as they grow upwards. They are more opaque and the light bluish tiny is
more than enough to give the two minerals plenty of contrast atop the Limonite matrix.
From the Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.
Measures 4.1 cm by 5.5 cm in size.
Price $385

Fine specimen of reddish-purple

An attractive plate from a lesser seen locale, this

Smaller crystals of Sphalerite add a nice accent to the cluster.
From the Hill-Ledford Mine, Ozark-Mahoning Company,
Cave-in-Rock, Illinois.
Measures 10.6 cm by 9.1 cm in size.
Price $485

NEW FIND! Interesting mix of
Allargentum with Dyscrasite, Schachnerite, and Native Silver!
I cherry picked the group that appeared in Tucson
for the most aesthetic specimens from
this new find and this cute miniature was among the ones chosen. The highly lustrous
crystals spray out towards the left from the center cluster and the entire grouping sits
atop a
matrix of shiny white Calcite. The numerous crystals are somewhat matted but still quite
distinct.
From the Bouismas Mine, Bou Azzer District, Ouarzazate
Province of Morocco.
Measures 4.5 cm by 4.5 cm by 3.8 cm in size.
Price $785

Mirror finish Galenas with Calcite and
Fluorite on Sphalerite!
This specimen has a little bit of everything but the
Galena cubes are by far the most impressive
with their sharp, lustrous faces. Also eye catching are the gemmy, doubly terminated
Calcite
crystals which are snug between the Galena cubes. Smaller lavender Fluorites pepper the
left side.
From the Elmwood Mine, Smith County, Tennessee.
Measures 4.9 cm by 6.5 cm in size.
Price $485

Gemmy green clusters of Green Apophyllite
on lustrous Stilbite crystals!
These popular "Well" Apophyllites have become very difficult to find in recent
years
since most specimens have disappeared into private collections. This cabinet sized
plate features two separate sprays, a "bow tie" spray at upper left and a ball
spray
to the right. The Stilbite crystals cover the front and backside of the volcanic matrix.
From Momin Akhada, Rahuri, Ahmadnagar, Maharashtra, India.
Measures 15 cm by 16.5 cm in size.
Price $3450

Beautiful cluster of red Rubellite
Tourmaline crystals
A colorful specimen with lots of flash and great
aesthetics, the Rubellite crystals
sit atop a matrix of Albite and along side a terminated Quartz point. This
miniature
sized specimen packs a lot of color and eye appeal for its size. The Rubellites are all
gem.
From Male Lapanle, Mogok, Myanmar.
Measures 5.6 cm by 5 cm in size.

EXCEPTIONAL MUSEUM SPECIMEN!!
Tremendous antique plate of super lustrous Pyrargyrite crystals with Calcite on matrix!
One of the finest I've seen from St. Andreasberg and one that has
quite an impressive
provenance as well. The Pyrargyrite crystal grouping is incredibly sharp, undamaged, and
lustrous. It also still displays an amazing amount of red for a specimen of its age! Note
the
reddish color of the crystals in the bottom close up when exposed to a direct light. This
plate
is literally covered from top to bottom with lustrous, shiny Pyrargyrite but it's the main
grouping in the top center which is the main attraction. These large crystals each measure
just shy of 2 cm in size with some 1 cm crystals nearby. I love this specimen and can
highly
recommend it to anyone who is a Silver mineral collector or a collector of very high end
classics!
From St. Andreasberg, Harz Mountains, Lower Saxony, Germany.
Measures 7 cm by 11.3 cm by 8.8 cm in size.
Ex. Geipel Collection (early 1900's), Bally-Prior Museum Collection
in Schönenwerd, Switzerland
Price $17,500

Unique and aesthetic specimen of
tri-colored Smithsonite!
Three distinct colors of Smithsonite are present on
this specimen. The main body is a rich neon blue

orange Cadmium
Smithsonite. Each layer is uncontacted and extremely lustrous with loads of flash and
appeal.
From the El Refugio Mine, Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Measures 5.8 cm by 7.1 cm in size.
Price $585

EXCEPTIONAL! Semseyite on Galena with
Sphalerite!
One of the finest examples I've seen, this specimen
takes colorless metallic minerals
and turns them into a work of art! The sparkling radial sprays of Semseyite sit
perfectly
atop the shiny Galena crystals! Semseyite is a rare sulfosalt and Romania is home to
some of the finest specimens. The backside of this specimen is covered by Sphalerite.
From the Herja Mine, Baia Mare, Maramures County, Romania.
Measures 6 cm by 5.5 cm by 3.4 cm in size.
