EXCEPTIONAL SILVER!
Dramatic specimen of Native Silver Wires on Acanthite coated matrix!
This is the second time I've owned this remarkable specimen and I was very happy to
reacquire the
piece in a recent trade. I call it the "Silver Medusa" and I think that's a
pretty good description.
The base consists of thicker wires and Acanthite but the wires quickly grow out and
upwards in all
directions, giving the specimen both a wild appearance and very aesthetic eye appeal. The
surface
of the wires are well striated and lustrous with just a hint of patina. If you missed the
specimen
the first time, now is your second chance to add this wonderful German Silver to your
collection!
From Freiberg, Freiberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany.
Measures 9 cm by 6.6 cm in total size.
Ex. Kevin Ward, Goings Mineral Collections
Comes with a custom made, labeled base.
Price $28,500

Stunning specimen of gemmy Sulfur crystals set atop
Aragonite!
I can't remember ever seeing a finer Sulfur miniature. This specimen is superb with
perfectly
formed crystals of glowing yellow color and gemminess. I paid VERY strong money for this
specimen when I originally purchased it because Sulfurs of this quality are few and far
between.
From the Cozzodisi Mine, Casteltermini, Agrigento Province, Sicily,
Italy.
Measures 4 cm by 5 cm in size. Circa 1980s.
From the Hall of Fame Collection
Ex. Ferris, Bernardi Mineral Collections

EXCEPTIONAL!! Amazing specimen
featuring one of the largest Amazonite crystals I've seen!
The main upright Amazonite crystal measures 11 cm in
height! It is also perfectly terminated
with the deepest, most incredible turquoise-blue coloration imaginable. The fat Smoky
Quartz
in the front adds a wonderful contrast and is also terminated. It features a darker top
and lighter
base which really suites the specimen I think. Smaller but equally as fine Amazonite xls
can be
seen to the lower right side of the largest crystal. As is the norm for
Smoky-Amazonites, this
specimen has been expertly repaired. The large crystal of Amazonite is totally complete
though.
From Sentinel Rock, El Paso County, Colorado.
Measures 12 cm by 16 cm by 8 cm in size.
Ex. Revelle Mineral Collection
Price $12,500

Incredibly rich plate of bronze colored
Calaverite blades on purple Fluorite drusy!
Without a doubt, this is the richest Calaverite specimen I've ever seen from Cripple
Creek. The
shiny, flattened blades cover nearly the entire surface and extend down the sides and even
appear
on the bottom of this purple Fluorite drusy covered matrix! Calaverite is a rare Telluride
and is
a mix of Native Gold and Tellurium. Most of the time, it appears as a silvery or light
yellowish
color but these blades are a bright golden-bronze, indicating a higher ratio of Gold. The
purple
Fluorite drusy adds a gorgeous contrast to the golden blades with some Quartz included in
the mix.
From the Ajax Mine, Cripple Creek Mining District, Teller
County, Colorado.
Measures 6.4 cm by 8.3 cm by 3.1 cm in size.
Ex. Robert Whitmore, Kevin Ward, Bernardi Mineral Collections
Comes with a custom made, labeled base.

Gemmy, apple-green Fluorite cubes in
cluster with white accenting!
Very sweet Fluorite specimen and also material you
don't see very often these days.
These apple-green Fluorites on white appeared about seven years ago and have become
very difficult to locate at the shows. This is one of the finer examples I've seen in
years
and the crystals are all gemmy right down to the matrix and in excellent shape.
From the Xiang Hua Lin Mine, Chengzhou, Hunan Province of
China.
Measures 9.2 cm by 14 cm in size.
Price $1450

EXCEPTIONAL COPPER!! Bright, lustrous
crystals of Native Copper!
A stunning cluster of Copper crystals with a super
shiny surface and lustrous

and atop several of the well formed crystals. No damage to speak of and one of
the prettiest patinas I've seen in a long time on a Michigan Copper specimen.
From the Calumet & Hecla Mine, Calumet, Houghton
County, Michigan.
Circa late 1890's - Measures 6.5 cm by 4.1 cm by 3.2 cm in size.

NEW FIND! Interesting mix of
Allargentum with Dyscrasite, Schachnerite, and Native Silver!
I cherry picked the group that appeared in Tucson
for the most aesthetic specimens from this
new find and this was one of the most impressive small cabs. This highly lustrous cluster
of
Silver crystals is very dendritic in appearance and looks something like a pine
tree growing
alongside a cliff of white Calcite. In my opinion, this was the best looking piece in this
size range.
From the Bouismas Mine, Bou Azzer District, Ouarzazate
Province of Morocco.
Measures 7 cm by 6.8 cm by 5 cm in size.
Price $5500

LARGE CABINET!! Exceptional specimen
of Orange Creedite crystal balls in cluster!
One of the finest and largest Orange Creedite
crystal ball clusters you'll see anywhere!
Orange Creedite is actually rarer than the more famous Purple Creedite and very few
specimens are as aesthetic and damage free as this one. Many if not most of the crystals
on the outer edges of each ball are gemmy and nearly all are terminated. This would make
an incredible centerpiece for any fine mineral collection. A true museum quality specimen.
From Mina Navidad, Durango, Mexico.
Measures 19.5 cm by 28 cm by 12 cm in size.
Ex. Vorpahl Mineral Collection
Price $6500

normal incompleteness along the trimming zone. The crystal surfaces have a satiny luster!

Lovely specimen featuring purple
Fluorapatite crystals perched atop Cleavelandite blades!
There are well over a dozen Fluorapatites here, all
of which are uncontacted and terminated
except for a single crystal near the far left. The Cleavelandite blades are lustrous and
distinct
instead of being "clumpy". They appear to have a slightly bluish tint to them
which is not uncommon
for the locale. A stray Tourmaline can be seen to the lower left and a Quartz is visible
at lower right.
From Golconda, Governador Valadares, Doce valley, Minas
Gerais, Southeast Region, Brazil.
Measures 8 cm by 10.4 cm by 4.7 cm in size.

The Galenas show many modification from later growth and have excellent luster!
The Chert matrix sparkles like crazy under faint lighting from a light drusy coating.

Awesome stalactite featuring stacked
"Faden" Adularia crystals!
This is the first of these specimens that I've seen
and I was amazed at
the perfection of the crystal stacking. There's only one point of attachment
and that's at the very bottom so the crystals definately grew atop one another.
From Val Giuv, Tavetsch Region, Vorderrhein Valley, Grischun,
Switzerland.
Measures 4.8 cm by 2.4 cm in size.
Price $485

Dazzling plate of lustrous Azurite
crystals with Malachite!
These plate is mostly covered with fine Azurite
crystals but the Malachite around the
edges sure adds a nice contrast to the glassy dark blue! I can't stress enough just how
flashy the plate is. It literally blinds you when given a direct light and the crystals
are
all there. I'm hard pressed to find any real damage to speak of but there is some slight
incompleteness near the upper trim edge. If you're looking for a cabinet sized Bisbee
Azurite that looks great and is priced reasonably, then this is the specimen for you!
Circa 1880-1890 - From the Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee,
Cochise County, Arizona.
Measures 9 cm by 12.9 cm by 5.2 cm in size.
Price $2500

Large Cabinet sized plate of misty-blue
Barite tabs clusters atop matrix!
I think the photo says it all about this specimen. The color is lovely and the crystal
coverage is
complete from one end of the matrix to the other with very few contacts. The only
contacted
Barite tabs I see are those along the outer trimming zone which is the norm for most
specimens.
A small amoung of orange Hematite accenting is scattered about and adds a nice contrast to
the blue.
From the Teresita Mine, La Union Mercid, Spain.
Measures 10 cm by 16.7 cm in total size.

Schachnerite, Native Silver, and Actinolite!

SUPERB! Fine crystallized specimen of
Native Gold with Arsenopyrite rising atop matrix!
The crystallization is sharp and distinct, with dozens of lustrous Gold crystals in
cluster.
This is one of the few affordable examples of crystallized Gold you'll find from the
Mockingbird.
Gold of this sort is extremely difficult to photograph and the specimen is even better in
person!
From the Mockingbird Mine, Maripose County, California.
Measures 6.5 cm by 3.7 cm in size.

Stunning combination of Strontianite
crystals with Chalcopyrite on white Barite blades!
Interestingly enough, the Barite actually changes to
salmon color just beneath the white
bladed surface. The glittering Chalcopyrite crystals look incredible atop the Barite
and really set off the Strontianite crystals at the very top. A pretty old German classic!
From the Dreislar Mine, Dreislar, Winterberg, Sauerland,
North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Measures 3.9 cm by 4.5 cm in size.

Beautifully patinaed specimen of
crystalline Native Copper on Copper spinels!
The color of the Copper crystals changes from bright
Copper to reddish Copper as you move towards
the bottom. The largest crystals have the deepest patina color and all are sharp with
lustrous faces.
I love the way the crystal habits change with each level of growth, mimicking the color
change.
From the Centennial Mine, Keweenaw County, Michigan.
Measures 6 cm by 6 cm by 3.4 cm in size.
Price $3850
