Stunning specimen featuring two
brilliant Tourmalines on Cleavelandite blades!
The largest Tourmaline is mostly red but changes
over to a greenish color just
below where it touches the Cleavelandite. The termination at top is perfect and the
sides are incredibly glassy and flashy! The surface striations leap out at you as you
roll the specimen from side to side. The smaller companion Tourmaline to the left is a
mix of red and green coloration but also has a full termination. This is one of the
prettiest
California Tourmaline combos that I've seen recently and there is no damage to the tips.
From the Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande District, San Diego
County, California.
Measures 4.4 cm by 4.5 cm by 6.3 cm in size.
Ex. Martin Zinn Mineral Collection
Price $7500

GORGEOUS!! Stunning double crystal of
pure Beryl var. Emerald perched on Calcite!
The color of this specimen is what grabs you at
first glance but when you look closer you'll
notice that the crystal is actually two adjoined Emeralds! Doubly terminated and
incredibly
glassy, this glowing jewel is stunning even without direct lighting. The Emeralds measures
2.1 cm from end to end and exhibit very sharp faces. Two tiny inclusions of matrix are
visible
on the upper portion of the second Emerald but do not detract from this amazing
specimen!
From the Cosquez Mine, Muzo, Vasquez-Yacopí Mining District,
Boyacá Department, Colombia.
Measures 2.6 cm by 4 cm by 3.3 cm in size.
Ex. Scott Wallace, Revelle Mineral Collections
Price $10,500

Sweet little combo of Rhodochrosite
with Pyrite cubes and Apatite crystals!
The Rhodo rhombs exhibit a gemmy red color with good
transparency! They match
up perfectly with the golden Pyrite cubes and both are well accented by tiny Apatites!
From Nate's Pocket, Mini King Raise, Sweet Home Mine, Alma,
Colorado.
Measures 3.5 cm by 4.6 cm in size.
Price $650

Interesting specimen of Calcite
"fingers" atop volcanic Basalt matrix!
This specimen comes from the Flagstaff area and I
suspect may have something
to do with the Sunset Crater Volcano just outside the city. The matrix displays the
porous appearance of volcanic rock and the Calcite slowly grew at a later time.
From the Flagstaff area, Coconino County, Arizona.
Measures 9.7 cm by 11.3 cm in size.
Price $285

Superb, glossy surfaces of botryoidal
Azurite on matrix from Bisbee!
I love the look of these classic Azurites! The
surface is smooth and shiny and
displays three shades of blue - light blue, blue, and dark blue with some obvious
layering. This piece dates to the late 1890's and I would have to say that botryoidal
Azurite is one of the rarest forms that appeared at the Copper Mines in Bisbee.
I probably see a hundred crystalline specimens for each botryoidal Azurite specimen.
From Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona.
Measures 10.8 cm by 8.9 cm in size.
Price $2850

VERY RARE! Aesthetic specimen of
Luanheite on matrix!
Luanheite is a rare Amalgam of Native Silver and Mercury and Chile is one of the
best locales in the world for fine specimens. Luanheite is normally not very attractive
but this one has great form, good luster, and a wonderful golden patina! It sits atop
a small amount of host matrix. This mineral is roughly 62% Silver and 38% Mercury.
From the Elisa de Bordos deposit, Pabellón, Copiapó
Province, Atacama Region, Chile
Measures 7.5 cm by 3.6 cm in size.
Currently in the Kevin Ward Mineral Collection

Exceptional combination of pink Rose
Quartz crystals and Smoky Quartz on Feldspar!
An amazing cabinet specimen which features gemmy
Smoky Quartz crystals in cluster hugging
the side of a larger Quartz crystal. The bright pink Rose Quartz crystals completely
outline the
zone where the Smokies meet the Feldspar matrix, from top to bottom. It appears the Rose
Quartz
crystals are a secondary growth which has served to reheal the larger Quartz playing host
to the
gemmy Smoky crystals. The Rose Quartz crystals may be smaller than the Smokies but they
are
every bit as sharp! This is by far, one of the most unique specimens I found at the Tucson
Show!
From the Pitorra Mine, Laranjeiras, Galiléia, Minas
Gerais, Southeast Region of Brazil.
Measures 18.5 cm by 9.6 cm by 9.3 cm in size.
Price $7500

Pretty specimen featuring a bi-colored
Aqua-Morganite on Microcline with Albite!
This gemmy 1.6 cm crystal shows much better pink and
blue coloration than what I normally
see in bi-color Beryls from this locale. It's perfectly terminated at top and rehealed on
the
bottom where it fractured in the pocket millions of years ago. The Microcline has a sharp
termination with shiny crystal faces. Jagged Albite crystals add a nice contrasting
texture.
From Baha, S. W. Buspar Peak, Baltistan, Northern Areas of
Pakistan.
Measures 5 cm by 5.6 cm in size.
Price $585

Gorgeous, glowing specimen of Golden
Fluorite cubes in cluster!
A stunning specimen that is pretty much pure golden
except for some scattered Chalcopyrite crystals
and very light peripheral zoning. The cubes are in good shape with only some minor bumps
here and there.
From the Minerva Mine #1, Hardin County, Illinois.
Measures 14.5 cm by 11.8 cm in size.
Price $3500

Exceptional specimen of crystalline
Native Copper with gemmy clear Calcites!
What an impressive specimen! The Copper is very well
crystallized with a lovely antique
patina while the Calcite crystals are both doubly terminated and transparent! A small
accenting band of blue Chrysocolla covers the right side matrix and completes the picture.
From the Centennial Mine, Houghton County, Michigan.
Measures 5 cm by 7.5 cm in size.
Ex. Carl Bentley Mineral Collection
Comes with a custom made, labeled base

Gorgeous, gemmy crystals of Forsterite
var. Peridot on Magnetite!
I count at least eight gem Peridots on this
impressive specimen and all are complete
and tranparent. I would imagine you could cut some wonderful gemstones from these crystals
but why would anyone want to do that?? The Magnetite crystal is also complete and
lustrous!
From Sapat Gali, Naran-Kagan Valley, Kohistan District,
North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan.
Measures 5 cm by 3.6 cm in size.
Ex. Scott Wallace Mineral Collection
Price $2500

Attractive specimen featuring a large
Fluorite cube set atop and between Quartz crystals!
Unusual and rare combination from Illinois, the
Fluorite measures 3.7 cm by 3.3 cm in size.
There are some scattered bumps along the front edge but these are natural and from the
pocket.
I can count the number of Illinois Fluorite on Quartz crystal specimens I've seen on just
two hands.
From Cave-in-Rock, Hardin County, Illinois.
Measures 6 cm by 7 cm by 6.6 cm in size.
Price $785

RARE!! Classic specimen of Cuprite
var. Chalcotrichite included Calcite with Native Copper!
Talk about Copper eye candy! This specimen
dates to the late 1890's and is covered from
end to end with small crystalline Copper crystals. Above these are glassy crystals of
Calcite
with bright red inclusions of Chalcotrichite! The overall appearance is absolutely
breathtaking!
From Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona.
Measures 5.8 cm by 7.4 cm in size.
Currently in the Kevin Ward Mineral Collection

An attractive cluster which displays a strong
internal glow through transparent reddish-purple interiors!
From the W. L. Davis-Deardorff Mine, Cave-in-Rock, Hardin

EXCEPTIONAL! Large crystals of
reddish-brown accented Hemimorphite in a matrix vug!
Hemimorphite isn't a mineral that usually excites me
but this specimen is a killer small cab!
The Hemimorphite crystals are glassy, terminated, and very reflective. The top and back
sides
are accented by reddish-brown to orange Iron Oxide and the largest crystals measure
4 cm in
length! I can't recall seeing a more impressive Hemimorphite. I know this is the finest
small cab.
From Santa Eulalia, Mun. de Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua,
Mexico.
Measures 8 cm by 8.9 cm by 8.2 cm in size.
Price $1250
