A very dramatic specimen featuring a perfect
reticulated Cerussite perched atop

Cerussite cluster is located to the far right ans backsides. Very fine miniature!

Glowing red rhombs of Rhodochrosite
atop Tetrahedrite and Quartz matrix!
This Rhodochrosite is a killer rhomb of the best color
and gemminess. It measures 3 cm in size from tip
to tip so its a big crystal and sits atop a second rhomb measuring 1.7 cm in size. The
second rhomb is
partially coated on the left side by a sparkling drusy which really makes the specimen
jump out at the
viewer. The color is another thing that will catch your eye when you see the piece. Both
rhombs sit atop a
matrix of Tetrahedrite and Quartz. The backside Rhodo face is slightly irregular from
matrix influence.

Stunning cabinet plate of sparkling
green Prehnite pseudo after large Calcite crystals!
One of the most impressive pseudomorphs I've seen in
a long time! The Calcites are quite
large, with the largest measuring 11.5 cm in width, and I don't detect any damage or
contacts
anywhere! On the backside of the largest Calcite pseudo, there is a small opening in the
Prehnite
and a glossy portion of the Calcite crystal being pseudomorphed is visible. The
surfaces of each
crystal and the botryoidal Prehnite covering the matrix are very bright and full of
sparkling flash.
Circa early 1980's - From Kandivali Quarry, Malad, Mumbai,
Mumbai District, Maharashtra, India.
Measures 8 cm by 17.2 cm by 13.2 cm in total size.

Lustrous growths of pearly Smithsonite
atop Cadmium Smithsonite covered matrix!
A unique specimen that I rarely encounter at the
shows. The white Smithsonite is actually
colorless clusters of Smithsonite crystals which take on a "bubbly" appearance.
There are
some small single crystals scattered about between the clusters but the crystal habit can
be easily seen with a 16x loupe. Beneath these are clusters of Cadmium-rich Smithsonite!
From the Monte Cristo Mine, Rush, Rush Creek District,
Marion Co., Arkansas.
Measures 12.4 cm by 14.2 cm in size.

Cute specimen featuring dark Smoky
Quartz points with Amazonite crystals on white Albite!
This fine miniature has it all really. The Smoky
Quartz points and Amazonite both have
excellent color and are separated by white Cleavelandite with is always the best look in
my opinion. No damage anywhere except for some tiny bumps along the edge of the
largest Smoky. There is the typical repair and restoration to the matrix but these are
all professionally done and pretty much invisible. A well balanced, aesthetic combination!

Measures 5.7 cm by 5.1 cm by 4 cm in total size.

Great looking cluster of Malachite
covered Cuprite crystals!
Three well formed attached octahedral crystals form
this cluster and the Malachite
surface really heightens the crystal habit. Sometimes you see these etched of there green
coating but I prefer the natural look with the Malachite still in place on the red
Cuprites!

Beautiful large cabinet of slightly
Smoky Quartz crystals in cluster on matrix!
A wonderful Quartz specimen with no damage, only a
few reheals, and numerous internal
phantoms. There are also inclusions in many of the crystals consisting of shiny Mica
flakes
and needle-like Schorl! I don't see much material from this locality at the shows
and large
plates like this one are almost unheard of. This piece would make an excellent
centerpiece.

Iron-Nickel (IAB) meteorite from
the Campo del Cielo impact with a natural hole!
The small meteorite collection I purchased in Tucson had very few of these rare and
fascinating "Hole" meteorites! Usually these happen during the atmospheric burn
when
the intense heat actually burns through the meteoritic material but they can also happen
if
a small carbon nodule pops loose during weathering. Whatever the cause, meteorites with
natural holes are highly prized and very popular with collectors. The hole here measures
Special Note: On January 1, 2008 Argentina implemented a new law prohibiting the
exportation
of meteorites. When the available supply on the market is exhausted, obtaining a specimen
will become extremely difficult. Now is the time to obtain a meteorite for your
collection.
From the Campo del Cielo impact at Formosa, Argentina - discovered
in 1576.
Age is approximately 4000 years old.
Measures 10.2 cm by 13 cm by 6.9 cm in total size and weighs 1861 grams.

Amazing Russian Meteorite
specimen!
This is one attractive piece of Nickel-Iron! Very aesthetic form and covered with deep,
bold regmaglypts (rounded impressions). The surface can best be described as lustrous to
shiny and the skin is smooth and somewhat darkened. This Meteorite was part of a fall
on February 12, 1947 over the Sikhote-Alin Mountains, near Vadivostoc, eastern Siberia!
It was part of the largest single Meteorite fall ever recorded (estimated at over 23
tons).
Measures 5.5 cm by 6.4 cm by 2.8 cm in total size.
194.8 grams of Nickel-Iron - approximately 21% Nickel.

the faintest lighting. This specimen ranks in the top ten of Chinese Pyros I saw while in

a
lighter blue drusy but dark blue Azurite crystals are scattered atop the backside Quartz

Excellent large cabinet sized plate of
reddish-purple Fluorite on lustrous Galena cubes!
This specimen is classic Annabel Lee Mine! It's
extremely well balanced and the purple
cubes contrast perfectly with the metallic Galena cubes! This is a specimen that has been

very few contacts. I don't come across quality Annabel Lee specimens like this very often.

Unique specimen of Golden Fluorite
cubes with Calcite crystals and botryoidal Barite!
A great looking plate which is not only in excellent
condition, but also has rounded balls
of white Barite that grew in between and atop the Fluorite cubes. I don't recall
seeing
another specimen of this variety from the Minerva #1. Usually the Barite is completely
etched away but the forces of nature chose to perserve it on this specimen. Small yellow
Calcite crystal clusters accent the surfaces here and there. Many are doubly terminated.

Brilliant cluster of iridescent
Covellite on Quartz matrix!
Also with Pyrite, these free standing blades are in
excellent condition with most being
complete. Some show evidence of having terminated into matrix which created a wider

1 cm in size. The blend of blues, purples, and reds are excellent with this fine

Cute and quite aesthetic miniature of
Native Wire Silver with Acanthite!
As original as they come, this fine German miniature
is the same as the day it
appeared from the mines in Freiberg some 150 years ago. The Native Silver
rises up from a matrix of Acanthite crystals and has never been cleaned of
its Acanthite drusy coating near the base. I rarely come across a Silver in
such a fine, preserved state. Most have been cleaned throughout the years.

EXCEPTIONAL!! Tremendous specimen of
Native Wire Silver atop a matrix of massive Silver!
This incredible specimen hails from the obscure
Shaft #66 in Schlema! I'm told that this shaft is
actually located near the center of town and that specimens from there are quite rare. The
wires pop
up from a matrix that is mostly massive Silver and thin wires intertwined with small bits
of Calcite.
The wires that rise upwards are more like knarled ropes and they are all very stable. This
is
easily one of the finest Schlema Silvers I've seen in a long time and would make a
wonderful
addition to a Silver specimen suite or European mineral collection. Superb, aesthetic
small cab!
