Tremendous
specimen of semi-crystalline Native Gold on Quartz matrix!
This is a super aesthetic specimen from the Gold fields of Western Australia.
Gold is usually found
in nugget form and matrix specimens, especially matrix specimens of this quality
and eye appeal, are
exceedingly rare. The color of the Gold is brilliant and it penetrates deep into
the Quartz matrix and
can actually be seen as a seam along the bottom side edge. One of my favorite
Golds from the show.
From Laverton,
Laverton Shire, Western Australia, Australia.
Measures 7.2 cm by 3.4 cm by 3.2 cm in total size.

Fine blades of reddish-orange Wulfenite
on sparkling Quartz crystal covered matrix!
Brilliant, transparent, and highly lustrous, these deeply colored Wulfenite
crystals contrast well
against the darker Hematite colored Quartz matrix. They measure to 1 cm in size
and are sharp with
only a few trivial contact present. The specimen was well trimmed to preserve
the very interesting
crystal lined matrix vug situated to the right of the Wulfenite blades. Unique
and very aesthetic.
Note: The back side of this cabinet sized plate is completely covered by small
Quartz crystals.

Mine, Silver District, Trigo Mts, La Paz Co., Arizona.

Impressive and quite
beautiful specimen featuring a large, doubly terminated Calcite with green
Fluorites on matrix!
Also with Dolomite along the back side, this is a lovely combination specimen
the likes of which I haven't seen before.
The nearly 12 cm Calcite is perfectly doubly terminated with silky, lustrous
surfaces. It it accompanied on both sides
and along the back side of the sparkling drusy covered matrix by gemmy green
Fluorite cubes of a modified nature.
Some well defined Dolomite crystals are also present along the back side. In
excellent condition with no detractions.

Mine, Leiyang Co., Hengyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China.
Measures 12.7 cm by 12.5 cm by 7.3 cm in total size.

Super lustrous specimen of multi-colored Smithsonite!
Fine, brilliant, rolling surfaces change from bright white atop the high points
to sky-blue and grassy-green
atop both the right and left sides.. There were several growth stages in the
development of this specimen
as one layer grew atop the other, each displaying its own coloration. The
surfaces are clean and contact free.

Attractive cluster of yellowish-orange
Wulfenite crystals in cluster!
This is an exceptional specimen and the condition of these fine Wulfenite blades
is excellent.
The blades are glassy and transparent to translucent with a bright yellow
coloration. Orange colored
Calcite crystals accent along the top edge and down the sides as well, creating
a beautiful contrast of
colors. In excellent condition with only a couple of incomplete crystal blades
which is pretty remarkable.
The Defiance Mine is outside the old Arizona ghost towns of Courtland and
Gleeson. The mine is still visible.
From the Defiance
Mine, Gleeson, Turquoise District (Courtland-Gleeson District), Cochise County,
Arizona.
Measures 5.3 cm by 9.8 cm by 3.7 cm in total size.

Large display plate of Quartz var. Amethyst with
Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite crystals!
A tremendous plate and one of the largest I've seen from
the Creede, Colorado locality.
There's not a single contact or scuff anywhere on these Amethyst crystals and the tops are
perfect. The combination of yellowish-greenish-brown Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite crystals
with the Amethyst is a classic combination for Creede. Lots of luster and glassy surfaces
highlight this fine specimen which could easily be a centerpiece for a Colorado mineral
suite.
From the P Vein, Commodore Mine, Creede, Mineral County, Colorado.
Measures 12.2 cm by 17.5 cm by 4.7 cm in total size.

Impressive miniature featuring lustrous dendritic crystals of Native Silver!
I love the structure of this sturdy Silver. The dendrites are heavy and
thick with a lovely
antiquish patina over lustrous surfaces. One of the better examples I've
seen in this size.

Brilliant surfaces of botryoidal green
Smithsonite!
This is a brilliant, lovely specimen with no blemishes whatsoever. The surfaces are
totally pristine and shimmering with a rolling luster. The color is two-toned with a light
green center bordered by a silvery-white left edge. The transition between the two colors
is very distinct and the thick rind of Smithsonite sits atop a series of smaller
Smithsonite
layers, all stacked one atop the other to form the hosting matrix. In excellent condition.

Mexico.
Measures 8.5 cm by 9 cm by 4.3 cm in total size.

Brilliant surfaces of botryoidal orange
Cadmium Smithsonite!
This is a brilliant, lovely specimen with no blemishes whatsoever. The surfaces are
totally pristine and shimmering with a rolling luster atop the silky, botryoidal orange
surfaces. This is one of my favorite varieties of Mexican Smithsonite and it's from
Santa Eulalia which is a less common locality. In excellent condition with brown accents.
