Beautiful, lustrous surfaces highlight this lavender Smithsonite specimen!
Rarer color from Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico, this plate is actually somewhat three
dimensional with botryoidal growths that rise upwards above the surface. The
sheen is intense and the color rich and even throughout. The only contact is
on the highest growth to lower left but is more along the side than the top so
it doesn't really detract. Measures 7.2 cm by 13.5 cm by 5.7 cm in total size.

Ordinarily, this specimen would not excite me because it's colorless Quartz but I found the
dense Chlorite inclusions at the top terminations to be incredibly aesthetic! The cluster

LARGE crystals of Beryl var. Emerald on Schistic matrix!
The size of these Emerald crystals is very impressive considering that
the specimen is from Gamitha, Laghman Province, Afghanistan and
not Russia as I first thought. Both crystals are fully terminated with
flat terminations (and some Schist inclusions) and have better than
average color and good translucency. Measures 6.2 cm by 4.6 cm
in size with  2.6 cm and 2.5 cm Emeralds. Very aesthetic miniature!

Rare combination specimen of Fluorite, Galena, and Barite!
These Fluorite on Galena specimens from the Elmwood Mine are hard to find!
I consider them to be very undervalued when compared to other Fluorite localites.
This specimen features 3 - 4 cm purple Fluorite cubes atop very lustrous Galena
crystals. A small ball of Barite is tossed in for accenting. The only contacts are on
the backside where the specimen was removed from its matrix. This is pretty much
typical for Elmwood specimens and only a few tiny bumps are visible on the front xls.

Larimar is a very popular cutting stone used in jewelry and design. It is mined
near Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and large pieces are very difficult
to find. After several years of looking for specimen slabs, I found this small group
at the Denver Show. This specimen measures 7.2 cm by 6.2 cm and boldly displays
the beautiful blue, white, and green streaks which make this Copper colored pectolite
so popular! Larimar is only found in one locality and that is the Domincan Republic.
