Stunning specimen combination of light
blue Topaz with green Tourmaline and pink Lepidolite!
These breathtaking combination specimens appeared in
Tucson about eight years ago and I recall
that they were from a very small find. Needless to say, they disappeared from the market
very
quickly and this is the first specimen I've been able to find in years. I count 9
Topaz crystals
in total with the largest measuring just shy of 4 cm in size! Intense gemmy green
Tourmalines
with full terminations are scattered about the specimen adding a beautiful color contrast.
From Darrah Pech (Pech Valley), Pegmatite Field, Nangarhar
Province, Afghanistan.
Measures 6 cm by 7.4 cm by 5 cm in total size.
Ex. Weill Mineral Collection
Price $7500

Gorgeous tabs of Golden Barite atop
cream-colored Calcite blades!
This is quite the cabinet sized plate. The crystals
are all complete with full terminations
on the front side and display an incredible amount of golden flash. The backside of the
the crystals are incomplete where the specimen was separated from the host rock but
this doesn't detract and is pretty much the norm with large, flat plates. An excellent
example of the Meikle Mine combinations that appeared five or six years ago.
From the Meikle Mine, Elko County, Nevada.
Measures 14 cm by 12.5 cm in size.
Ex. Edward David Mineral Collection
Price $4500

Impressive specimen featujring a
large, upright Selenite crystal on Selenite crystals and matrix!
I've only seen one of this Selenite spears from
Naica and this is it! It was in my personal collection
for ten years and I finally decided it was time to give it some website exposure. It would
make a wonderful
centerpiece for any collection but please keep in mind just how tall the main crystal is
so it fits in your case.
By the way, the crystal is perfectly terminated with a slanted top and glassy surfaces!
From the Cave of Swords locality, Naica Mine, Chihuahua,
Mexico.
Measures 25 cm by 24.5 cm by 16.4 cm in size.
Currently in the Kevin Ward Mineral Collection
Price $3500

Impressive specimen featuring large
crystals of Native Copper!
The main crystal is the large triangular crystal on
the far left side but all the crystals
are distinct and make for a very attractive cluster. The surfaces are lustrous with an
attactive reddish-brown
patina. The above photo shows the specimen on its side but I prefer it upright with
the largest crystal at top.
From the Ahmeek Mine, Ahmeek, Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan.
Measures 9.6 cm by 4.3 cm by 4.4 cm in size.
Ex. Rolf Wein Mineral Collection
Price $4500

Colorful specimen featuring Bornite
coated Chalcopyrite crystals with pinkish Calcite!
Lots of luster and rainbow iridescent color
highlights this small cab. The specimen probably dates
back to this early 1940's and was part of the large Philadelphia Academy collection. The
Chalcopyrites
are very well formed and oocassionally appear as golden patches between the iridescent
Bornite coating.
The addition of pink Calcite crystals is an added bonus and really makes the piece!
From Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Measures 7.5 cm by 6.9 cm in size.
Ex. Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences

Beautiful large crystal blade of
Wulfenite with smaller Wulfenite crystals on matrix!
The impressive Wulfenite in the foreground measures 2 cm in
size. It is pristine and
fully translucent! The smaller blades in the background are virtually contact free
and the entire specimen exhibits that color glow that Red Cloud specimen are know
for. The presentation of the largest crystal against the matrix is very aesthetic!
From the Red Cloud Mine, La Paz County, Arizona.
Measures 3.7 cm by 5.5 cm in total size.
Price $950

Beautiful specimen featuring two
tri-color Tourmaline crystals with Albite!
Both crystals exhibit a gorgeous laying of
yellow-green to green to pink at both perfect
terminations! The surfaces are well striated and super glassy while the pink
portions
near the tips are gemmy. Both crystals are held tight by several blades of Cleavelandite.
From Paprok, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan.

Amazing specimen featuring Native Silver
wires perched atop Quartz matrix!
This specimen was among the first Native Silver specimens to be found at the Imiter Mine
in Morocco. A single Quartz boulder was collected shortly before the and broken into
several
specimens which exposed the rich nest of Native Silver! The matrix is a cluster of
incomplete and
complete Quartz crystals with a few terminations here and there pointing outwards from the
center.
From the Imiter Mine, Ouarzazate Province, Morocco.
Measures 8 cm by 7 cm in total size.
Comes with a custom made, labeled base
Price $5750

Large cabinet plate of vibrant purple
Fluorite with Barite blades in cluster!
These purple cubes are pure gems with internal

SUPERB!! Incredible Mexican classic
featuring Native Silver wires atop Acanthite crystals!
This specimen is from the old workings in Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico dating back to the
early 1900's! It's very different than the more recent Native Silvers from the same locale
which are dendritic in structure and etched from Calcite matrix. The addition of the
lustrous
gray Acanthite crystals is an rare bonus! A small attachment of Quartz forms the matrix.
Circa early 1900's - From Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Measures 4.7 cm by 6 cm in total size.
Ex. Kevin Ward, Bernardi Mineral Collections
Comes with a custom made, labeled base.
Price $6500

Gorgeous combination of lustrous Galena
crystals with Sphalerite and Amethyst!
These incredible combos appeared several years ago and have become
difficult to find
at today's shows. The yellowish interiors of the Sphalerite are very apparent in this
photo
as is the growth laying of the Galena cubes. A cluster of deep purple Amethyst accents
both!
From the P-Vein, 2 South, 5 Level of the Commodore Mine in
Creede, Mineral County, Colorado.
Measures 6.8 cm by 6.8 cm in total size.
Price $1450

Gemmy and extremely flashy blue
cluster of Celestite crystals on matrix!
These specimens always dazzle but this one seems to
have a bit more pizzazz than usual and the
aesthetics are superb. There is no damage except for the outer trim line which is the
norm. The largest
crystals rising up from the center measure 5 to 6 cm in total size! A great example of
this popular mineral.
From the Sakoany Mine, Majunga, Madagascar.
Measures 11.7 cm by 12.4 cm by 13.4 cm in size.
Price $4500
