Stunning specimen featuring fine needles of Aurichalcite with Calcite!
This beautiful cabinet specimen is in excellent condition because the majority of
the delicate Aurichalcite is protected inside matrix vugs! The needles of Aurichalcite
are studded by Calcite crystals and framed inside the vugs by sparkling Quartz drusy!
Interesting note - the backside vug at the very top is filled with green Smithsonite!

Elogated stack of lustrous Pyrrhotites on Quartz crystals!
The bronze colored and quite lustrous Pyrrhotites contrast beautifully with the orange tinted Quartz
and the entire specimen is very three dimensional in appearance. The stack climbs some 9.5 cm
in height above the Quartz and has been stabilized along a matrix crack on the backside to
strengthen a weak point. I believe this is the longest Pyrrhotite stack I've ever offered.

Major eye candy!! Gorgeous red scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite on Manganite matrix!
Pure color and pure gem! I haven't offered many South African Rhodos over the years but this one
caught my eye the moment I saw it! The crystals are in excellent shape with full terminations and
glassy faces that clearly show the inner gemminess of each Rhodo! It's amazing that something so
red can also be so transparent. This specimen will scream color even under faint lighting and would
make a wonderful competition miniature. The dark Manganite matrix adds the perfect contrast.

Wow, what a superb toenail sized specimen! The rhombs are perfect and gorgeous and are
accented by fine Quartz needles (one is doubly terminated) and a sprinkling of Tetrahedrite.
The largest rhomb measures 1.8 cm in size and the smaller rhomb to the left measures 1.3 cm.
Both have great color and are fully translucent to transparent!

A classic plate of Pyromorphite from a scarce locality! Schauinsland had been actively mined as a lead
source for centuries and finally shut down back in the 1950's. This plate is an excellent representive
for the locale and is nearly completed covered by the small, apple-green acicular crystal clusters.

This is a great looking and very well balanced plate! Lots of pizzazz and flash jumps off the
sparkling surfaces and the neon-blue Cavansite balls are spaced perfectly to tie it all together.
The largest Cavansite is actually a cluster of several clusters and measures 2.6 cm in size.
The backside of the matrix is also drusy covered for the most part.

Some of the Epidote clusters take on the appearance of "ram's horns" and curl back
upon themselves. The tips are dark and glossy and emit a strong sparkle while the interiors

Dazzling plate of gemmy hot pink Rhodochrosite crystals on matrix from Peru!
At first glance it's easy to see why this specimen is different from so many of the other
Manuelita Rhodo specimens. This one has GEMMY, tranparent red crystals which are actually hundreds
of small rhombs, all clustered together in a flashy, sparkling display! Many of the rhomb clusters form
pillers or stacks that rise above the surface. The matrix is a solid rock consisting of sulfide and Pyrite seams.
From the Manuelita Mine, Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, Peru.

Bright yellow crystal of Beryl var. Heliodor in Quartz and Microcline!
A good looking crystal with lots of internal gem portions. The crystal clearly shows
the internal stresses of formation and naturally split and shifted at least twice. Quartz
matrix eventually filled the cracks and cemented the Heliodor crystal back together.
