Gorgeous specimen featuring large raspberry colored Fluorite cubes on matrix!
This is one of the finest specimens of Fluorite I've seen from

Fluorite or Mexican collection. The largest cube in the cluster of four measures 4.5 cm across the corners
and all are super lustrous and gemmy with a glowing raspberry-purple coloration. In excellent condition!

Exceptional specimen of Native Silver wires atop Acanthite covered matrix!
True museum quality, this incredible German Silver has been in a private collection for years but was
offered to me during the Tucson Show and I was happy to acquire it for the website! The aesthetics are
stunning and it's difficult to walk away from the specimen without taking several glances as many people
found out for themselves while it was on display in my showcase. The wires rise up from the Acanthite
and climb upwards to create a unique variation of the classic tree shape! The bottom wires are very thick
and the second photo to the right even shows a perfect little "ram's horn"! The specimen is a true prize
for any collection and the antique patina and slight sprinkling of Pyrite are really nice.
From the Himmelsfurst Mine, Freiberg District, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany.
Measures 10.7 cm by 4.8 cm by 3.3 cm in size.

Glowing specimen of naturally polished Baltic Amber!
This is the real thing! Highly prized Baltic Amber from the Baltic Sea. This specimen exhibits a rich,
internal glow while the surfaces have been naturally polished by the action of sea water. There's also
a number of cellular-like patches attached to the surface in some areas, almost like a skin of sorts.
I believe these are the remnants of sea coral, attesting to the specimen's amount of time in the water.
Baltic Amber has been highly prized for hundreds of years and was once controlled by the Order of the
Teutonic Knights who made a fortune trading it in much the same way De Beers controls and trades the
Diamond market today. Baltic Amber dates back to 44 million years ago or back to the Eocene epoch.
From the Baltic Sea coast near G'Dansk, Poland.

Very rare combination of yellowish Wulfenite blades with light green Fluorite!
First of these old classic combos that I've seen. This is a toenail sized specimen and I know of no larger
sized examples. The Wulfenite blades are in great shape and the Fluorite is complete on the front side with
some etching on the back. This is a great locality specimen from a mine that is seldom seen in the marketplace.

Exceptional specimen featuring Native Silver wires with Acanthite crystals on matrix!
Incredibly aesthetic and super lustrous specimen featuring large wires of Native Silver rising high atop matrix
with associated crystals of gray Acanthite! I love the way the largest wire flattens out to a width of nearly 1.5 cm
and rises upwards some 3.4 cm before curling over at the tip to form a ram's horn. Another wire in the foreground
juts out nearly 3 cm to the left, twisting and turning as it stretches outward. Just below the wires is a large 1.5 cm
Acanthite crystal with smaller crystals climbing the right edge on the matrix. This specimen is in excellent condition
with a gorgeous reddish-golden patina highlighting brilliant striated surfaces. One of my favorite Silvers from the show.

Exceptional classic specimen featuring incredibly sharp Native Copper crystals with Calcite!
This is an amazing Michigan Copper, circa 1860's, which was formally in the collection of the Philadelphia Academy.
The crystals are incredibly sharp, varying in size, but all are untouched with their original skin. The patina is a antiquish
reddish-brown over slightly reflective, lustrous crystal faces. The crystals are aesthetically placed atop layered rhombs
of white Calcite which have been chipped, not etched away, to reveal more of the Copper crystals beneath.

Exceptional specimen of Native Silver crystals in cluster atop small amounts of Native Copper!
Very well crystallized specimen, displaying numerous well formed crystals of Native Silver branching our
from the base and climbing upwards atop one another. All are terminated with rounded terminations and
the surfaces are highly lustrous with a light greyish patina. The look of this specimen reminds me somewhat
of the spoked Cerussite clusters and is the second Native Silver I've offered on the website with that structure.

Proustite crystals on matrix that I've seen or owned! The Proustite has been well protected and still has a
considerable amount of redness when exposed to direct light. The addition of Acanthite and Native Silver
wires makes the piece extraordinary. The matrix is covered by fine stacked crystals of white Calcite!

Sweet, gemmy crystal of Sulfur on Aragonite matrix!
This is a gorgeous crystal, fully transparent with a strong internal glow. It has a textbook

itself measures over 2 cm in size. The matrix is a mix of Aragonite and bitumen included Sulfur
which adds great color contrast to the deep coloration of the aethetically placed Sulfur crystal.

Rare crystal of Beryl var. Aquamarine from North Carolina!
North Carolina Beryls are definately not common but large, terminated crystals of this calibre are few and far
between to say the least! This is a nearly 9 cm tall, perfectly terminated gem which displays a gorgeous internal
glow which can best be described as sea-green or greenish-blue in coloration. The crystal is in excellent condition
with a natural hoppering near the center and some very light etching. The crystal faces are brilliant, highly lustrous,
and well striated from the top to the bottom. It's hard to capture the brilliance of the crystal in a picture but it is
quite the light show when rotated back and forth in even faint lighting. Easily the finest NC Aqua I've seen in years.

Fine specimen displaying crystalline balls of lilac colored Creedite on matrix!
These are actually quite scarce specimens due to the fact that there is very little collecting of minerals at the
Henderson Mine which is a huge Molybdenum mining operation. Fortunately some miners took the time out
from their busy schedule to save these specimens and they occasionally appear in the marketplace. This one
has better color than what I normally see and the crystalline balls are in excellent condition with no bruising.

EXCEPTIONAL RARITY! Unbelievable specimen of Native Silver on Cerussite!
This is easily one of the most incredible finds at the show. This is a specimen of Native Silver
on white Cerussite from the Bunker Hill Mine and it is easily the finest specimen of this material
that I have ever seen. It's also the largest since almost all are thumbnail size when they come to
market and they don't appear that often. Looking at the specimen with a naked eye, I can see
dozens of Native Silver inclusions sticking out from the Cerussite or laying atop its glassy white
surfaces. Upon closer inspection with a 10X loupe, I see intricate Silver dendrites and cris-crossing
wires as illustrated by the close up photo above. This specimen is loaded with Silver crystals and the
amazing thing is that it is SMALL CAB in size. Every other specimen of this rare material that I've seen
or heard about has been thumbnail or micromount sized. I don't know how many have survived in this
size range but I've not seen another so there can't be very many. This specimen is an incredible example
of the Silver-Lead Deposits at Bunker Hill and what can happen when each mineral separates into their
own form. The Cerussite is in very good condition with very few contacts. This specimen can be displayed
aesthetically from both the front or back and would look amazing if mounted standing upright on a base.

Roman coin hoard from France (former Roman Gaul)!
Technically not a mineral specimen but still a mineral! This small hoard of Antoniani was discovered in Roman Gaul,
now modern day France, and consists of 3rd century Roman coins, most of which feature the Roman usurper Emperor
Postumus. Postumus was a Roman naval commander whose soldiers named Emperor of Roman Gaul, Britannia, Hispania,
and parts of Germania. Due to internal difficulties, the actual Roman Emperor Gallienus was unable to gather the army
required to remove Postumus and restore central Roman authority. Postumus ruled his "Gallic Empire" for ten years
until his own men assassinated him in 269 AD. Eventually the rebellious provinces were retaken by Rome. These coins
are in excellent condition with full details and strong surface luster. This is a great looking collection and very historical.
Antoniani (Antoninianus) is a larger Roman coin that is the equivilent of 2 Denarii and is called the "double Denarius".
