VERY RARE! Lustrous specimen of Native
leaf Gold on Pink Granite matrix!
The color combination between the Gold and Pink
Granite is always a sight to see and makes
this mine one of my favorite localities for Gold specimens. Unfortunately, it's also a
very difficult
locality to find specimens from because it's now closed. In addition to this, many
specimens were
reclaimed by the mine owners due to property rights so the number available was greatly
reduced.
This is a rare opportunity to add an attractive and seldomly seen Gold locality to your
collection.
From the Nugget Pond Gold Mine, Betts Cove, Baie Verte
Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada.
Measures 5 cm by 4.3 cm by 5 cm in size.
Price $6500

Beautiful golden-brown Barite mixed

surfaces.

Beautifully patinaed specimen of
crystalline Native Copper on Copper spinels!
The color of the Copper crystals changes from bright
Copper to reddish Copper as you move towards
the bottom. The largest crystals have the deepest patina color and all are sharp with
lustrous faces.
I love the way the crystal habits change with each level of growth, mimicking the color
change.

VERY LUSTROUS and aesthetic combo
featuring Arsenopyrite crystals alongside a large Ferberite!
A dazzling specimen, these combos appeared around
seven years ago and have virtually disappeared
from the current marketplace. This specimen features a cluster of lustrous Arsenopyrite
crystals on
the far left edge with the largest upright and terminated crystal measuring some 5 cm in
length!!
The large 5.4 cm by 4.5 cm Ferberite crystal is heavily striated which accounts for its
heavy luster.
It is partially rehealed on two sides and complete two others. The nickel-silver color of
the
Arsenopyrite crystals contrasts beautifully with the shiny black color of the Ferberite.
From the Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province of China.
Measures 5.3 cm by 8 cm by 6.2 cm in size.
Price $2850

These combos are so rare these days and the perfect matching size of both crystals is
really nice!
Numerous smaller Scheelites are scattered atop the matrix on both sides.
From Ping Wu, Sichuan Province of China.
Measures 6 cm by 6.2 cm in size.
Price $1450

Exceptional!! Dramatic specimen of
"Cave Calcite" fingers and crystals from Bisbee, Arizona!
This is one of the finest examples of mining Calcite
that I've seen from the old Copper mines in
Bisbee! The rounded Calcite fingers are topped by sharp Aragonite crystals which glisten
in even
faint lighting. The specimen is pristine overall with no visible damage. It was preserved
with
great care by the former owners. The story behind these specimens - Most were encountered
deep inside the mines at Bisbee and unfortunately, most were also destroyed or
blasted away
during the mining process. A specimen of this quality is rarely encountered and is a true
prize.
From the Holbrook Shaft, Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise
County, Arizona.
Measures 12.2 cm by 9.8 cm by 6.4 cm in size.
Comes with a custom made, engraved base
Price $3500

Colorful mix of rootbeer-colored
Sphalerite crystals on pink Rhodochrosite!
The color of the Sphalerite crystals is an intense
amber-brown and is quite gemmy in some
locations. The pink Rhodochrosite covers almost the entire matrix with a beautiful
contrast.
From the Manuelita Mine, Morococha District, Yauli
Province, Junin Department, Peru.
Measures 7.2 cm by 5.1 cm in size.
Price $585

Glassy green Prehnite clusters atop white
Calcite on Quartz points!
Without a doubt, this is the finest Prehnite to yet appear from China. The quality is very
high
and I love the combination with Calcite and Quartz much better than the solid Prehnite
plates.
From an area near Meigu, Xichang Area, Sichuan Province of
China.
Measures 7 cm by 5.3 cm in size.
Price $785

MIN#Tucson2010-139 Sold!
Unique specimen featuring a
doubly terminated Golden Calcite covered by Orpiment crystals!
In all the shows and thousands of Chinese specimens I've seen, this is the ONLY specimen
of small
Orpiments crystals on Calcite that I've come across. The specimen also appears to be a
floated
because there is no definative point of contact or attachment. A stunning and possibly
unique specimen!
From Shimen, Hunan Province of China.
Measures 8.5 cm by 14 cm in size.
Price $2450

RARE specimen featuring wires of
Native Silver atop Quartz matrix from Creede, Colorado!
Now this is something you don't see very often.
Silver specimens from Creede are no uncommon but
specimens with wire Silver rising nearly 3 cm above the Quartz-Sulfide mixed matrix are a
true prize!
I would date this specimen back to the mid 1900's and it's a rich one with Silver
scattered throughout.
From the Creede Mining District, Mineral County, Colorado.
Measures 5.5 cm by 7.2 cm by 6 cm in size.
Ex. Kevin Ward Silver Collection
Price $3500
