MUSEUM QUALITY!! Incredible specimen
of Native Silver dendrites with Acanthite crystals on Calcite!
This is simply the finest Batopilas specimen I've
ever seen or offered - no doubt about it! The large "feather"
on the right side measures over 7 cm in height and is totally pristine with an aesthetic
presentation rarely
seen in a Batopilas Silver. Every spoke and dendrite is complete and most are
accenting by small dark
gray Acanthite crystals! Behind the large dendritic feather is a matrix of host rock and
Calcite, giving the
specimen a stability and strength not usually seen in Batopilas specimens which often tend
to be flimsy.
This is another aspect of the specimen that I find to be very desirable.
From Batopilas, Andres del Rio District, Mun. de Batopilas,
Chihuahua, Mexico
Measures 10.2 cm by 7 cm by 2.8 cm in total size.

Satiny, chatoyant needle sprays of
Malachite on matrix from Tsumeb!
Rolling surfaces of fine Malachite needles create one of the most
incredible, shimmering specimens
you will ever see from Tsumeb. The specimen is nearly contact free with only a couple of
tiny bumps
on the far right side. These do not detract one bit from the dazzling chatoyance and are
barely visible.
From the Tsumeb Mine in Tsumeb, Namibia, SW Africa.
Measures 7.1 cm by 9 cm by 3.7 cm in total size.

VERY RARE!! Exceptional specimen of Native
Gold on matrix from Leadville, Colorado!
I can count the number of Leadville Gold specimens I've seen in the
past decade on one hand
and I've never seen a specimen that even comes close to this one! Not even in the
Leadville
or Denver Mineral Museums. The Native Gold is a mesh of fine semi-crystalline growth and
is quite solid all the way through. In other words, there is no give to the mesh. It sits
atop
the Quartz matrix and peeks out in veins all the way down to the bottom. This impressive
specimen was found in July of 2008 by Ed Muceus during a collecting trip at the Ibex #3.
From the Ibex #3 Mine, Leadville, Lake County, Colorado.
Measures 5.5 cm by 4 cm by 1.6 cm in total size.

Sculptural looking specimen of Native
Copper with Copper crystals and Calcite!
The specimen branches out and terminates on the upper left side with dozens
of well defined Copper crystals! Calcite crystals cover the lower right side of the
specimen. An interesting and aesthetic Copper which displays a bi-colored patina!
From the Phoenix Mine in Keweenaw County, Michigan.

Gemmy crystal of Golden Calcite
perched atop matrix!
Completely transparent with a glowing gemmy
interior, this Calcite makes it obvious why
the Elmwood Mine's Jewel Pocket is so highly prized by collectors worldwide. I can
easily
read print through this crystal, and the termination is pure glass with a nearly pristine
tip.
Only a couple of tiny chips keep it from being completely pristine and you'll need a 16x
loupe
to see them. They are invisible to the naked eye. The Calcite measures nearly 6 cm in
length.
From the Jewel Pocket, Elmwood Mine, Smith County,
Tennessee.
Measures 6.5 cm by 9.3 cm by 5 cm in total size.

MUSEUM QUALITY!! Exceptional specimen
of Native Silver wires on Calcite matrix!
This stunning specimen rates as one of the finest
Pervian Wire Silvers I have ever seen or offered!
Not only is it extraordinarily well balanced, but it is incredibly artistic with at least
two S curves,
one of the most graceful formations found in both art and nature! The wires vary in
thickness from
.5 cm to 1.5 cm and are very stable atop the white matrix. They are beautifully striated
with a lovely
golden patina throughout. I could see this specimen and the Batopilas specimen above being
placed
into the same collection, creating a Native Silver display of competition level. Both
Silvers are well
matched sizewise and offer two distinct forms of Native Silver in a quality that I rarely
encounter.
From the Uchucchacua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department,
Peru.
Measures 7 cm by 4 cm by 4.4 cm in total size.

Incredible specimen of naturally
etched bi-colored Fluorite!
I normally don't acquire etched Fluorite specimens
although I know they are very popular
with collectors. This one, however, jumped out at me when I saw it in Tucson and I grabbed
it for the update. This is the most amazing etched specimen I think I've ever seen. It
looks
like a sculpture with golden-yellow pillars rising upwards until they reach a purple cap
which
displays less etching and even some smooth faces. The entire structure looks like a series
of "mushrooms" and is very 3-dimensional from all sides. I might also add
that it's very
difficult to photograph due to the its depth of structure and is much better in person.

County, Illinois.
Measures 5.3 cm by 8.4 cm by 7.3 cm in total size.

Pristine, doubly terminated
Anglesite crystal atop Anglesite with Cerrusite!
This superb and quite rare specimen has a price tag of $850 from
1974 and that was a lot
of money back then. It's obvious why the specimen was so highly valued however. The
Anglesite
crystal measures 4.4 cm in size and is doubly terminated as sits atop smaller Anglesite
and Cerrusite
crystals. The smaller crystals also exhibit sharp terminations and the entire specimen is
glassy with
a pearl-like luster. The crystals are thick, making for some translucence. Contacts are
very minimal.
From the Tsumeb Mine in Tsumeb, Namibia, SW Africa.
Measures 5.5 cm by 4.3 cm in total size.

Flashy specimen featuring thick
reddish-orange Vanadinite crystals on Barite!
Pretty much every crystal is in pristine condition and all are upright standing which
always
creates the best overall appearance I think. The Vanadinite crystals measure to 1 cm in
size
and the thickest ones measure up to .7 cm in depth! The Barite blades are cream
colored with a
brown coating on the front side. When the specimen is rotated, a sweet glint of red can be
seen.
From the Mibladen Mine, Mibladene, Midelt, Meknčs-Tafilalet Region,
Morocco.
Measures 4.2 cm by 3.3 cm by 2.9 cm in total size.

Sweet specimen of Arsenian
Pyromorphite crystals on matrix!
This is a wonderful miniature with no visible damage
and enough sparkle and flash for several
specimens. The crystals are bright yellowish-orange and display a visible translucence.
Upon
closer examination with a 16x loupe, I can see just how glassy the crystal faces are and
most
of the Pyromorphite crystals display a pyramidal termination. The matrix is brown and
cast-like/

VERY RARE!! Leaves of Native Silver and
Malachite atop Chalcocite from Bisbee, Arizona!
Needless to say, Bisbee wasn't known for its Silver but it did
appear as sheets from time to time.
Specimens of Bisbee Silver are incredible rare and I think I've seen less than half a
dozen in the
past decade. This specimen shows a fairly rich scattering of Native Silver atop the dark
Chalcocite
matrix and is accenting by fibrous green Malachite. This specimen represents a rare
opportunity!
Circa 1900 - From Bisbee, Warren District, Mule Mts, Cochise County, Arizona.
Measures 5.6 cm by 5.5 cm by 5 cm in total size.

Scarce old specimen of Native Copper
in matrix from Norway!
I don't come across Native Coppers from Norway very
often and I was struck by the eye appeal
of this specimen. The Native Copper sheet stretches some 3.7 cm upwards from the matrix
and is
covered with rounded striations which reflect matrix influence. The surfaces are satiny
lustrous.
From the Dalane Copper and Silver Mines, Dalane, Kviteseid,
Telemark, Norway.
Measures 5 cm by 4.3 cm by 1.6 cm in total size.

Large, lustrous crystal of Sphalerite with
Galena and Calcite on Quartz drusy covered matrix!
The glassy-lustrous Sphalerite crystal at the top right measures 3.6
cm in size and is perfectly
matched sizewise by the Calcite crystals which measures to 3.5 cm in size. The
Sphalerites are
a deep reddish color with just a hint of brown and they actually cover both sides of the
specimen.
The side shown shows the Calcite coverage and the backside shows more Sphalerite on drusy.
Small Galena octahedrons can be seen tucked between the Calcites and atop the drusy. Very
nice!

RARE! Sharp, terminated crystals of
Tincalconite ps after Borax!
These unique specimens are rarely encountered at the
mineral shows and this is one of the largest
I've come across in many years. The terminations are in excellent condition and the
specimen is
beautifully preserved considering it's softness and light weight. It's been well protected
for many years.
From the U. S. Borax Mine, Boron, Kramer
District, Kern County, California.
Measures 9.3 cm by 9.8 cm by 9.5 cm in total size.

Impressive specimen featuring LARGE Galena
octahedrons on Quartz from Colorado!
I don't think I've seen a specimen with larger crystals from this
locality outside of a museum.
The largest modified Galena crystal measures 6 cm in size and the others are of a similar
size.
This would rate as one of the most impressive Colorado Galena specimens I've ever come
across.
From the New Jersey Zinc Eagle Mine (Gilman Mine), Gilman, Gilman
District, Eagle Co., Colorado.
Measures 7.4 cm by 14 cm by 10.2 cm in total size.
